Seriously Comfortable Glamping

Walk, cycle or drive to North Norfolk's hidden gems

Wake up in your beautifully appointed cosy family Bell Tent, with a proper double bed for the adults and air mattresses for the children. In the middle of a bucolic meadow, you’ll find room to relax and play with a scenic flint church as a backdrop. Just five minutes walk away you’ll find the rolling parkland of the National Trust’s Felbrigg Estate, with plenty of places to roam and admire the grazing cattle and sheep. It’s a tranquil, neighbourhood and cycling is an excellent way to venture further afield, along the quiet lanes to admire the local stately home (Gresham Hall) which gives the campsite its name.

Back at the ranch you’ll find cutlery, crockery and other utensils, with a picnic table outside and a glorious, atmospheric fire-pit. A cosy wood-burning stove will keep your bell tent warm when the nights get cooler and there’s even an electric blanket for the double bed.

Living Arrangements

These lovely bell tents provide luxurious camping with proper mattresses, high quality linens, coir matting and soft furnishings. The tents are spacious and warm with a wood burning stove and electric blankets to keep you warm and sockets to charge your phone. Each tent has mains powered lights and four sockets for guests use. There's a wood-burning stove to keep you warm with the first bag of logs being complimentary. A small supply of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, glassware, and a corkscrew can be found in your tent's hamper. Each tent has its own picnic bench and firepit. At the bottom of the meadow, there are hot gas-powered showers, hand-washing basins, and toilets, plus a washing-up area with eco-washing-up liquid provided.

The Meadow & Beyond

When you've finished relaxing in the meadow and day dreaming by the village pond, stroll down to the back gate of the National Trust's Felbrigg Hall estate, a mere half a mile away for lush grassland with peaceful cattle, sheep and foot-paths. There's also a walled garden to explore and a courtyard cafe for sustenance. Slightly further afield, but still within the three mile radius, is Sherringham Park as well as the renowned Cromer and Sherringham beaches with Cromer's pier and fish and chips. Once you are in the car, North Norfolk really is your oyster with beaches, nature reserves and much more.

Need to know

Social distancing measures will be followed to ensure you have a safe, private time with all tents a minimum of 10 metres apart. The loos and hot, gas-powered, showers are individual cabins so two people cannot use one cabin at the same time. The washing-up area has plenty of eco washing-up liquid provided. Check in is contact free. There is masses of space for parking. This is a family and couples glamping location in a rural location, the idea is to be kept snug under thick natural canvas whilst living amongst tranquil nature. While we love dogs, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate them, or any personal tents or camper-vans.
